Toilet Backups Results in Bigtime Water Damage in East Brunswick Bathroom
The mental image of a toilet backup may come to mind as copious amounts of water combined with an equal amount of solid waste. However, that is not always the case. As seen in the Before Photo, there is water to clean up but no readily visible waste. SERVPRO technicians handle this type of water loss with the same safety precautions and care because the water has the same potential for hazardous contaminants. Due to seepage under the tile floor and wicking into the sheetrock, the flooring and sheetrock in the vicinity required careful removal and disposal as a biohazard. After drying the techs disinfected the bathroom to get it ready for rebuilding.
